Wedding Supplies

We're going to be needing some wedding supplies soon!

My son, Carmine just asked his girl friend, Laura, to marry him...and she said, "Yes"!

The engagement ring is just beautiful. It sparkles in the light and Laura wears it well. It's just the right size for her petite hand. We are overjoyed! He and Laura have been dating for years, so we all knew it was just a matter of time. It's so exciting to watch a young couple begin to plan their lives together. It's so romantic!

I wonder if I'm just being sentimental and mushy because it's my son...but I don't think so. I love weddings. I'm always so very happy for any couple as they plan their wedding ceremony and of course, I love a good party!

I can only tell you a little bit about their plans since they are still in the early stages. The happy bride and groom to be have decided upon a traditional month to hold their wedding ceremony...June. The ceremony and reception are going to be outdoors, in fact, Carmine and Laura are going to be married on the top of a mountain!

No, they are not mountain climbers. Laura chose her Aunt's home as the site of the wedding and that home is on the very top of a mountain. The view is unbelievable. Just an awesome sight. It is, actually, breathtaking. I cannot imagine a more lovely spot for a wedding to take place.

Since Carmine and Laura don't have a lot of time to plan the wedding they are going to be quite busy these next few weeks.

Laura's wedding gown, veil, shoes
Brides maid dresses and accessories
Planning a reception menu
A reception list
Wedding Invitations
And, of course, all the little things like Wedding Glasses, a guest sign in book, a wedding favor...there is so much involved when you are planning a wedding...but it helps when your Mom has a party web site! Just imagine, you have all the plans and shops already waiting for you.

There is a shower to be planned, bachelorette party, and a batchelor party for Carmine...It's going to go by so quickly! There are a lot of detail to tend to and many decisions to make. Seven months is not a long time to plan a wedding, but Carmine and Laura are lucky. They are both organized and that will help a great deal!
