Roast Pumpkin Seeds Recipe - Perfect For Halloween Time
Here's my Roast Pumpkin Seeds Recipe so you can learn how to make roast pumpkin seeds. It comes in very handy in October when you carve up all those pumpkins with scary and fun faces. You are going to have a lot of seeds left over...now here is what you can do with them.
One of the easiest and yummiest snacks for children and adults is roasted pumpkin seeds. The steps to roasting the seeds are very easy and great for children to help parents with.
First, remove seeds from a freshly carved pumpkin and separate the pumpkin pulp (stringy part) from the seeds.Next, have an adult pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.
Place seeds on a newspaper or paper towel to dry them out for about ten minutes and then coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
Next, place seeds in a single layer on the baking sheet and sprinkle a tiny bit of salt on the seeds.
Finally, place baking pan with seeds on it into the oven. Keep an eye on the seeds, and when they start to turn a golden brown color, have an adult take the pan from the oven and let the seeds cool before eating them. Store extra seeds in a sealed container.
Enjoy the seeds and the fun time you are going to have with your kids making them! Halloween is such a fun time of year and roasting pumpkin seeds is just one more activity you can make a tradition in your family!
