Mild mannered Dr. Robert Bruce Banner became the Incredible Hulk after accidentally being exposed to the blast of a gamma bomb he invented.

This kind, loving and brilliant doctor quickly becomes the abundantly muscled, savage, green monster when he is intensely excited or angry. It is believed that the stronger the emotion the bigger and stronger the Hulk gets.

His superpowers include:

Superhuman physical strength, speed, stamina and a high resistance to physical damage
The ability to regenerate damaged limbs, vital organs and tissue within seconds
Resistance to extreme temperatures, mind control, nuclear explosions, poisons and all diseases
Superhuman endurance
The ability to breathe underwater and move quickly between depths without any ill effect
