Make Your Own Jell-O Play Dough and Let Your Kids Play

Do your kids like Play Dough? You can make your own Jell-O Play Dough and it is easy to do. Your children can play with this homemade play dough...to store it just put it into a plastic bag with a seal.

Keep it stored in the refrigerator until you are ready to pull it out and play. Kids love to play with play dough and now you can make it for them!

Here's what you need to make your own play dough with Jell-O.

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup warm water
1 (3 ounce) package Jell-O (any flavor)

Combine ingredients and cook over medium-low to medium heat until it thickens and pulls away from the sides of pot and becomes dull.

Knead until cool enough to touch. Store in a closed plastic bag.

Of course you can let your kids play with this homemade dough as soon as it is cooled. Wait until you see the creative things they are going to shape and mold with the play dough. Speaking of molds...you can give the kids cookie cutters to make shapes.
