Chocolate Meringue Cake Recipe

Another easy to make recipe is the Chocolate Meringue Cake Recipe. You can tell all your friends you found it on our Hershey Chocolate Facts page.

You will need the following ingredients:

  • A pie crust
For The Filling
  • Eggs 4
  • Sugar 2 Cups
  • Butter 4 Ounces
  • Chocolate 8 Ounces Grated
  • Cream 8 Ounces
  • Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
For The Meringue
  • Egg Whites 4
  • Sugar 4 Tablespoons
How To Make The Crust
  • Bake frozen crust according to directions.
How To Make The Filling
  • Mix filling ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat until mixture starts to thicken
  • Stir constantly until the mix is thick like pudding
  • Fill crust with chocolate filling
Make Meringue
  • Put eggs and sugar in a bowl
  • Mix until stiff peaks form
Now...
  • Top the filling with the meringue
  • Bake at 400 degrees for about 5 minutes until the top gets golden
  • Refrigerate to chill and serve
