Halloween Bat Paper Plate Project For Kids
(Edison, NJ, USA)
Paper Plate Bat For Halloween. It's an quick and easy kids craft project.
You can make a bat paper plate craft for Halloween. It's fun and easy to make this simple kids project. You will need some black construction paper, some paper plates...I like my plates to have a colored background, so buy a package of colored plates or have the kids color them with crayons or markers. You can see the how nice the yellow plate behind the bat looks.
You can use black foam sheets instead of construction paper if you like working with foam better than paper. You will also need some white paper circles for the eyes or buy some googly eyes for your bats.
You can also get a piece of ribbon or yarn to make a hanger. This way you can hang your kids bat craft up when it is finished.
Okay, so cut out some circles to use as your bat's head, some small triangle pieces to use as bat's ears and some wing size triangle pieces to use as the wings. Cut some small white circles, three for each bat. One is the nose and two are the eyes...you will only need one if you are using the googly eyes.
Now that you have all the pieces cut out start to assemble your paper plate bat. Center the wings on the plate and put the head right in the center of them. Then add your ears, nose and your bat's eyes. How does it look? Good? Okay than remove all the pieces and now put them down again this time using glue to keep them in place.
You have just made a really cute Halloween decoration. This bat paper plate craft kit is perfect for a kids Halloween party, a school class party or some at home arts and craft fun for your kids.
