Greetings From The White House

Greetings will only be sent to U.S. CITIZENS.

The request must be sent at least 6 weeks before the date of the birthday or anniversary.

There are several greetings available from the White House greeting office. These greetings are:

• An Anniversary Greeting If you, or a couple you know, are celebrating a 50th or more wedding anniversary you can get an anniversary card signed by the President of the United States, Barack Obama.
• Birthday Greetings are available to people who are celebrating their 80th birthday or more! The President of the United States will sign a card for them.
• Wedding (send your request after the event)
• Baby's Birth (must be born during the Bush Administration; send request only after baby's birth)
• Eagle Scout Award
• Girl Scout Gold Award
• Bar/Bat Mitzvah or equivalent occasion

• Name and home address of honoree(s) form of address (Mr., Ms., Mrs., Dr., Miss, etc.)
• Exact date of occasion (month, day, year) age (birthdays) or number of years of marriage
• Your (the requestor's)name and daytime phone number any specific mailing instructions if other than to honoree's address.

You can expect your greeting to arrive from the White House greeting office about 10 days before the event.
