Green Slime Salsa Dip is one of those really gross Halloween food ideas and it tastes much better than it looks. This fun Halloween recipe is certain to catch the attention of your little ghost and goblins. It is made to look like slimy green swamp goo. The blue corn tortilla chips add to the “dead” look.

For a fun presentation, prop a small plastic skeleton near the dip bowl and watch all those little ones eyes light up. It's always fun when you use spooky dishes and party supplies to set your table at a Halloween party.

Here's what you need to make Green Slime Salsa:

10 oz frozen spinach, thawed
4 oz cream cheese
½ cup sour cream
1/3 cup mild salsa
2 green onions, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
½ teaspoon salt
Blue Corn Tortilla Chips

Drain and squeeze dry spinach. Puree in food processor the spinach, cream cheese, salsa, sour cream, garlic, and salt. Cover and refrigerate until slightly thickened. Serve with blue corn tortilla chips.

Of course you can use any tortilla chips and there are multi colored veggie chips out there that will also look great with this green dip.
