Bobbing for Apples Cream Cheese Caramel Dip is a special treat and a Halloween party is the perfect place for it to happen. Halloween is a favorite holiday for children of all ages. It is one of the only time of the year were you are allowed to talk about boogers, bloody brains and all those other gross body functions without a parents giving you too much of a hassle. In fact, you can not only talk about them...we all try to serve up food that looks just like them...the grossest food recipes we can find. But here is a delicious party food's a fruit dip and we use it during that old favorite Halloween party game...Bobbing for Apples!

A children's Halloween party would not be complete without the classic bobbing for apples game. You all know how to play the game...but this dip recipe takes it one step further. Once the apple is secured in a child’s mouth, remove it and cut into pieces to serve with a cream cheese caramel dip.

Here's the Halloween dip recipe:

Prepare the dip by mixing an 8-ounce block of softened cream cheese with one-quarter cup lemon juice and two tablespoons brown sugar. Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and combine using a hand mixer to obtain a whipped consistency. This dip makes 12 fluffy white servings and stores for up to one week in a refrigerator.
