Christmas Party Recipes: Jolly Ole St Nick Ham

Jolly Ole St Nick Ham
  • 1 bone-in ham (5 pound) and fully-cooked
  • Apricot preserves 1/2 cup
  • Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon
  • Packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Orange juice 1 cup


  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
  • Combine the apricot preserves and Dijon mustard together in a bowl and mix.
  • Make shallow criss cross cuts on the top of the ham.
  • Spread preserves mixture over the whole ham.
  • Pat brown sugar over the top of the preserve mixture, gently.
  • Combine the water and orange juice together in a bowl.
  • Get a roasting pan and pour the juice/water mix into the bottom.
  • Put your ham on a roasting rack in the roasting pan.
  • You can bake your ham for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until ham is heated thoroughly.
  • As the liquids in the pan evaporate you can add up to a 1/2 to 1 cup of the orange juice/water to the pan.

Reindeer Bread
  • Butter, 1/2 cup softened
  • White sugar 1 cup
  • 2 eggs
  • All-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups
  • Baking soda 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • Ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon
  • Pumpkin puree 3/4 cup
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips 6 ounces
  • Chopped pecans 1 cup divided
  • Confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup
  • Heavy cream 2 tablespoons
  • Ground nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  • Combine the butter and sugar, cream until fluffy.
  • Add your eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, salt, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg and the ginger in a separate bowl.
  • Slowly stir 1/3 of the flour mixture into the sugar mixture.
  • Stir 1/3 of the pumpkin into the sugar mixture.
  • Stir in 1/3 of the flour and add the remainder of the pumpkin.
  • Stir in the rest of the flour mixture.
  • Gently fold in your chocolate chips and about 3/4 cup of pecans.
  • Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Pour mixture into the loaf pan.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the pecans on the top.
  • Bake for one hour or until a knife inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
  • Let the loaf cool completely.

Icing Directions:
  • Combine the confectioners' sugar and heavy cream, stir together.
  • Add cinnamon and nutmeg and stir until smooth.
  • Just drizzle your icing over bread loaf when it is completely cooled.

Santa’s Elves Potato Delight
  • 8 red potatoes, sliced
  • 2 large sweet onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a large casserole dish.
  • Take a large bowl and combine the sliced potatoes, sliced onions, butter and garlic salt together.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Scoop potato mixture into your casserole.
  • Cover the casserole with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 40 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Remove the casserole from the oven.
  • Remove the aluminum foil.
  • Sprinkle the top with cheese.
  • Put the casserole back in the oven, keeping it uncovered.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes or until cheese has melted.
  • The potatoes should be fork tender.

Christmas Party Recipes: Honey Deviled Eggs

Honey Deviled Eggs
  • 12 hard-boiled eggs
  • Mayonnaise 1/3 cup
  • 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • Finely shredded Cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons
  • Honey mustard 2 tablespoons
  • Pepper 1/4 teaspoon


  • Hard boil, shell and rinse off the eggs.
  • Slice each egg in half.
  • Remove each yolk and put them into a mixing bowl.
  • Put your egg whites onto a platter.
  • If you haven't done so already cook the bacon strips until they are crisp. Drain, allow to cool and crumble.
  • With a fork mash the egg yolks.
  • Add the mayonnaise, crumbled bacon, cheese, honey mustard and pepper into the egg yolks. Mix well.
  • Scoop one spoonful of the yolk mixture into each egg white.
  • Cover your deviled eggs.
  • Keep the eggs refrigerated until ready to serve.
  • The final step is to Sprinkle paprika on top of eggs before serving.

Put a Bow On It Corn Bake
  • 1 box corn muffin mix
  • 3 eggs
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Melted butter 1/4 cup
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (14.75 ounce) can cream-style corn

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
  • Put the muffin mix into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add eggs and milk.
  • Blend until muffin mix is just moistened.
  • Add butter, salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Fold in both cans of corn.
  • Pour the mixture into your casserole dish.
  • Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted in the center of casserole.

Christmas Spirit Eggnog
  • Milk 4 cups

  • 5 whole cloves
  • Vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • 12 egg yolks
  • Sugar 1 1/2 cups
  • Light cream 4 cups
  • Vanilla extract 2 teaspoons
  • Ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon


  • Get a large saucepan and place over very low heat.
  • Combine the cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, cloves and milk in the saucepan.
  • Heat milk mixture for about 5 minutes bringing to a boil very slowly.
  • Whisk the egg yolks and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.
  • Egg mixture should become fluffy.
  • Slowly whisk milk mixture into the eggs until blended well.
  • Place egg milk mixture back into the saucepan.
  • Being sure not to allow the mixture to boil and stirring continuously, cook mixture over medium low heat for approximately 3 minutes or until mixture thickens.
  • Once the mixture thickens remove cloves.
  • Let mixture set and cool for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Once mixture has cooled stir in 2 teaspoons of vanilla, cream and nutmeg.
  • Blend well.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • When your ready to serve your eggnog sprinkle nutmeg over the top.

Chocolate Raspberry Ornaments
  • Semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup
  • Cream cheese, softened 1 (8 ounce) package
  • vanilla wafers with creme, crushed 15 wafers
  • Seedless raspberry jam 1/3 cup
  • Finely chopped toasted almonds
  • Toasted coconut

  • Melt chocolate chips until completely melted and smooth.
  • Allow the chips to cool slightly.
  • Put the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  • Pour melted chocolate over cream cheese and mix together until very smooth.
  • Fold in vanilla wafer crumbs being sure to cover all the crumbs with the chocolate mixture.
  • Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or until chocolate is firm.
  • Once firm, shape chocolate mixture into balls.
  • Roll half the candy balls in the toasted almonds and the other half in the toasted coconut.
  • Store in the refrigerator to keep them from becoming too soft.

  • Cherry pie filling 1 can
  • Green Marcino cherries 1 small jar
  • Chopped pecans 1 small package
  • Mini marshmallows 1/2 bag
  • Frozen whip topping 1 container

  • Put the cherry pie filling in a mixing bowl.
  • Add in green Marcino cherries,pecans and marshmallows. Mix well.
  • Fold in whip topping. Make sure to mix well!
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Yuletide Breakfast In a Package
  • Bulk pork sausage 1 pound cooked and crumbled
  • Shredded Swiss cheese 1 cup
  • Shredded Cheddar cheese 1 cup
  • 2 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shells in a pie pans
  • 6 eggs, lightly beaten
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Chopped onion 1/2 cup
  • Chopped sweet red pepper 1/3 cup
  • Chopped green pepper 1/3 cup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Put cooked crumbled sausage in a large mixing bowl.
  • Fold in both cheeses.
  • Place half the sausage mixture in the pie shell.
  • Pour rest of the sausage mixture in the second shell.
  • Combine eggs, milk, onion and both peppers in a separate bowl,and Mix well.
  • Make sure you blend the egg mixture very well.
  • Pour half the egg mixture over the first pie shell and mixture.
  • Pour the rest of the egg mixture over the other pie shell.
  • Bake one hour or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

Candy Cane Marble
  • Dark chocolate 1 pound

  • White chocolate 1 pound
  • Peppermint candy canes 30 small


  • Put the dark chocolate into a microwave bowl
  • Heat on high setting in microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Stir chocolate about every 30 seconds to make sure lumps are melting.
  • Put white chocolate in microwave bowl and heat like dark chocolate.
  • Put candy canes in a large freezer bag.
  • Using a rolling pin break the candy canes into different size pieces.
  • Place half the crushed candy canes in a strainer and shake small crumbs into dark chocolate.
  • Place the remaining crushed candy into strainer and shake crumbs into white chocolate.
  • Line a 9X9X9 baking pan with heavy aluminum foil.
  • Spread dark chocolate out into bottom of pan.
  • Spread white chocolate over the dark chocolate in pan.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the crushed candy canes over the top.
  • Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
  • When the mixture has hardened break up pieces of candy. Some people do this by dropping straight down on the counter.
