Birthday Cake design...it's a little intimidating, isn't it? When I used to think about making a cake and decorating it, well, I wasn't sure I could do it. I wanted to make to make the best cake ever...after all it was going to be for my kids birthday parties. So for many years I did not make their cakes myself. I ordered them from bakeries and spent tons of money on them.

These cakes always looked great and tasted delicious. So what was the problem? I wanted to make a special birthday cake design for my children. And I was afraid to try.

Want to know what I finally found out? My kids did not want a perfect cake...they wanted a fun cake decorations. And I learned that I could make them that.

Now it's easy to make a homemade birthday cake, design it and decorate it. I want to share that with you. You can do it, it doesn't have to be perfect, just a cake made with love!
