Artichoke And Olive Bruschetta - Perfect Party Appetizer Idea
After you try this Artichoke and Olive Bruschetta you are never going to want another party appetizer recipe again. This is one of the best party recipes I have found and I love it. You must like green olives and artichokes to enjoy this tasty bruschetta, but if you do, then you are in for a delicious treat. I made some last week and didn't want to share it with my party guests...now, that's a good bruschetta!
How To Make The Bruschetta
You will need two cans of artichoke hearts..these are usually about 15 oz give or take one, one cup of green, pitted, olives, some lemon juice...about two teaspoons, 1 clove of garlic, 1/2 cup of virgin olive oil and a blender or food processor. I like a lot of olives, but when you make the recipe be sure to follow the directions and then add more of the olives or artichoke hearts to taste.
Some people like to drain and rinse the artichoke hearts. I do drain them, but don't rinse them. I put in two cans of artichoke hearts, one cup of pitted green olives, toss in the rest of the ingredients and puree for a couple minutes. Refrigerate this appetizer for two or more hours and then serve with crackers, pita bread, chips, anything you would normally serve a dip with. This is so good, I was thinking about adding it to some angel hair pasta...what do you think? I am hungry just thinking about it.
